Sky - I use and highly recommend the open source freeware 'DVDFlick.....it does the lot; converts, authors and burns video files to DVD (for watching on TV), all in the one go. It is very easy to use too.
Just 'add' your video files (any format, mixed formats too) and it will do the rest.
