I'm a bit scared, when I read "to view on TV". This might involve a dvd-player capable of playing .avi files...But Thank God this is hardware, and I do not know the least thing about hardware...
By no means do I want to raise Hell but
its something I've pondered for a long time.

When I mentioned "compatibility" issues, I thought there might be a problem re: my mother's DVD player & TV functionality. I'll have to review the model #'s etc. before I get underway with what you've given me - which I thank you for.
