Well, the people at the forum had to be reminded to reply, and they did reply after that reminder. So yes, its good to get a helpful reply from their side.

PC Tools is a good firewall for the average and experienced users. Its a very easy, and friendly firewall. Kinda like install and forget. Of course to take more out of a firewall, you have to dig deeper and make some settings, but its really good for average users too. I too have Avast on my PC, and it plays well with it.

In response to my query about the PC Tools Firewall Driver, they have posted :

This is not a new component. Sometimes there is a problem appears when few NDIS Intermediate drivers work together.
