Forgive my ignorance, but don't most modern browsers have the ability to "scrub" their own private data? Why then, do people need a separate browser scrubber?

I know that Opera has "delete private history" and Firefox has "private browsing". IE has the ability to delete history data, etc.

I am really asking out of ignorance primarily because I seldom see a need to worry about my browser history or data.
