I noticed something of the sort back on my previous set of DDR2 sticks. I ran MemTestx86 overnight, and woke up to 0 errors. However, I was getting frequent BSOD's and overall program crashes. I was getting tired of all the problems and just dived in with a purchase of 2 other sticks. After that, I didn't have a BSOD for nearly 2 weeks after they were installed (BSOD was my overclock's lack of voltage).
