I today installed and tested the version 1.33 of Total Mounter. I was unsuccessful in writing a virtual disk.
I used CDBurnerXP, BurnAware, InfraRecorder to write the disk, all more or less gave the same error.
First of all I opened TotalMounter... and selected virtual CD/DVD-RW from Mount button. I gave the size 16 MB for the image to be created. Earlier, I selected the default size of 650 MB, but as my hard drive had only 300 MB or so left, the image that was created was of 0 bytes, and so error was occurring. That was mistake on my part. When I selected 16 MB, the image of that size was created successfully, and mounted too.
The virtual drive of TotalMounter was recognized by all three burning softwares. Upon selecting the drive, and writing to it, errors occurred.
On writing using BurnAware, got this error:

Burn process failed (SCSI Pass-through Interface I/O Error.)

When using CDBurnerXP, got this error:

Using InfraRecorder, got this error:

Seems like there is some kind of SCSI IO Error.
Someone who has idea about these things can tell what's happening. Either its a mistake in the software, or I am not doing something right.
The lack of a manual for the software does not help too
Wait for another version?
