I've spent time trying out each of the 3 alternative DNS services mentioned in this thread.

Based on nothing more than my personal perception when browsing (I'm based in the UK), here's my conclusion :-

Although there's very little in it, DNS Advantage seemed fastest, followed by OpenDNS, with Comodo Secure DNS slowest.

From what I can tell (and have found to read), OpenDNS has most security features, followed by Comodo DNS, with DNS Advantage coming in last.

All 3 gave me no technical or site specific problems during my usual browsing habits.

So I've chosen to go with OpenDNS for now.
