Software problems

   My start menu has relocated itself to the upper left hand corner.  I'm familiar with the normal drag and release solution, but this doesn't  work.  I can move the right side border farther to the right (extending up to half of the screen) but I can't get it to move up or down.  Any ideas?

i have come across a laptop that dosn't work but the hard drive is still operation. i need a program off the hard drive but it's imbeded in the registry. .how do i get the program off the hard drive and on to a desktop machine. Please help and thanks in adcance

Hi everybody. I need help to solve a problem with cleanup assistant 1.3. I've been using this software for a long time, and recently, I don´t know why, it stoped functionning. Every time I launch it, I get a message saying that windows found some problem and closed the application. I already tried to uninstall and re-install, but I get the message again and I can't use cleanup assistant 1.3. My os is windows vista.

I appreciate any help or advice.

im trying to open a file that ive downloaded but windows cannot open this file wot do i need to download to open the file

I work in the computer department of my church.  One of my responsibilities is to update our "workgroup" (distrubition list) in outlook 2003.  the way I do that is update mine and send a copy to each employee.  They in turn have to delete the old one and past the new one into the contacts list on their computer.  Next they have to go and delete the "workgroup' from the auto save feature in the To box. Finally they need to send a new email to the "workgroup" by clicking on the To box, finding it in their contact list and clicking okay. 

A solution for playing JVC camcorder(mod files) problems
Question 1: "I recently purchased a JVC camcorder that records video as .MOD files. I can't seem to edit the files or play them on my PC. Is there a way to convert .MOD files to .MPG or something that works on my computer?"

Today I used Runscanner, which found more than 50 missing files, 48 of which are drivers, e.g. Abiosdsk.sys, abp480n5.sys, ..., WDICA.sys. I guess, not being very experienced,  that it would be possible to download each of these somewhere and put it in the C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers folder.

Two questions: 1. Where do I go for the downloads to be almost sure that I get the correct (non-infected) files. 2. Is it possible to download several files in one go?

I have Internet explorer 7 installed, but it will not open up.  It used to work.  I have tried reinstalling but it will not open up when I click on its icon.  I use Firefox 3 for most things, but there are times when Explorer is needed.  Please can anyone help? 

I have xp pro with all the updates installed.

I ended up with alot of viruses on my comp. When everything was cleaned up I cannot use my Media Player. It keeps saying that my licensing file has been lost or damaged. What do I do?
