File associations
Wed, 11/19/2008 - 01:05 — OmegavilleI'm looking for a File Associations management tool. E.g. I run VICE (Commodore 64 emulator) and I want to set it to run .D64 and .T64 files. I have tried doing this through Windows XP but it keeps ignoring my changes (won't recognise X64.exe as a valid program). I'm wondering if there is a utility out there that can do this - all I could find was a shareware tool.
Whether it can handle icon associations or not isn't a big deal - there are icon management tools for that.
Cheers

online backup for personal website
Mon, 11/17/2008 - 16:36 — rudedog71
will allow me to backup or sync documents from one or more pc's to server space on my personal website.
My corp firewall wont allow me to use any of the online services, like dropbox of foldershare...but I am able to reach my personal website...so since Im paying for that space monthly...I might as well use it.
I know I could use FTP to upload/download files...but I'm hoping to run something server side that will check and sync certain folders on my pc/laptop.
Any ideas?
thx in advance...this community is great.
Copy Folder Names Into Text...?
Sat, 11/15/2008 - 00:11 — LarryBeeHi folks,
I'm tying to catalogue the music on my computer and am looking for a free program that will copy the names of folders and paste them into a text file, ie I have a folder with way to many sub folders in it. What I would like is a file that will take the name of every folder and copy them to a text file/word document for me.
I'm trying to avoid a program which catalogues the files as many of them are down as 'Track 01', 'Track 02' etc.
Any help would be appreciated,
John
