Problems with cleanup assistant 1.3.
Tue, 11/11/2008 - 18:55 — pafHi everybody. I need help to solve a problem with cleanup assistant 1.3. I've been using this software for a long time, and recently, I don´t know why, it stoped functionning. Every time I launch it, I get a message saying that windows found some problem and closed the application. I already tried to uninstall and re-install, but I get the message again and I can't use cleanup assistant 1.3. My os is windows vista.
I appreciate any help or advice.

Just a quick question that I'm hoping someone can put me right on...
A couple of months ago I tried the Avira AntiVir freebie, and more recently the premium suite.
Both versions, after only a couple of weeks, began to fail loading the 'update scheduler', hence no updates either manual or auto'.

I've found that the licence in the returned e-mail is only for 1 month, not for 6 months.
I guess I've done something wrong, but cannot not work out what.
Any suggestions please.

I would like to use it at our church where we provide a secure wifi network and would like to be able to protect the users from the "dark side" of the internet. We operate the system with a wirless ADSL modem sat on the phone line and normally no PC is physically connected to it, and our ISP provides us with a dynamic IP address. Herein lies the problem. The IP address can change at any time, yet OpenDNS uses the IP address to know what your filter requirments are, unknown (or new) IP address equals no filter.

question about "never reinstall windows again" tutorial

I had a student tech look at it. at my request, he created a 20G "C" drive partition and a "D" drive partition and put all my old files on the D drive. I had not completly read the tutorial and did not tell him to make the D drive an extended partition. My plan is to load windows Xp sp2 onto the C drive and have it boot and get all updates. Then I want to move my data info on to the D drive. Does the not having the D drive be an extended partition stop me from following the rest of the tutorial? If it doe
