thats 4 words lol

That should be "you're (you are) simply the best" 'Your' is a possessive pronoun. Same mistake happens all the time with "They're" (they are) vs. their (possessive) vs. there... The web is slowly but surely destroying the English language - these mistakes may seem small, but they're actually illiterate in the strictest sense of the word.

"The web is slowly but surely destroying the English language ..."

A good example being the current President of the United States? Who likes the internet and doesn't speak half bad either.

Seriously: many more people are writing English in public because of the internet, including many non-native speakers. So we can naturally expect to notice many more grammatical and spelling mistakes in print. But our living language may be in stout health.

By the way, how good was Shakespeare at modern spelling? He wasn't. Those rules didn't exist then. So go on! Nip it in the bud...

Or have a read of this on historical linguist, David Crystal's blog:

Gizmo, I made your collection into a chm help file, I wonder why you didn't. It's my first help project, but creating a search index was exhausting so I left it out, for now. All links seem to work properly. Would you like me to send it to you? Tell me here. Thanks, Gizmo!
