Would You Qualify For Mensa Membership? Take A Fun, Free, Online Test

Mensa is an international organisation of some 20,000 people, all of whom have an IQ that's higher than the average.  Have you ever wondered whether you would qualify for Mensa membership?  Although it's not an official IQ test that you can use to gain entry into Mensa, the organisation has a free "mental workout" on its web site that you can try, in order to guage your own skills.

There are 30 questions, and you are allowed half an hour to take the test.  Once you've done so, you'll be graded immediately so you can find out how well you've done.

See www.mensa.org/workout to give it a try.

I'm smart enough not to waste a half hour of my life on wondering if I'm smart enough.

The Smartest person I know is a professor – He has so many awards, the four walls of his study could not hold then – he has wrote several books, appeared in many documentaries, even NASA consults him on certain projects – ME! I am not that book learned but I am lot smarter than him for at least I know life begins at Conception, there is a God, you don't need a degree to get into heaven – and I never went to University – and now here is question I asked him and he could not answer, ''Why do you never see baby pigeons?''

Questions. If you're a genius why would you need someone else to tell you how smart you are? Wouldn't you already know that? :)

There is a difference between thinking you are smart, and actually being smart. The former does not require extraordinary intelligence.

There's also a difference between intelligence and being smart. Inventing the A-bomb for instance required considerable intelligence, but it wasn't a particularly smart thing to do :)

Ask yourself why nobody knows the I.Q. of the developer of the test. It's a gimmick. It's as determinate of your intelligence as Phrenology.

Fantastic! For years I suspected I was intellectually inferior, now I'll have proof.

Well said. Look at where our world is ending up, we oh so highly developed ones who base intellect over pretty much anything else. coughaclubarfreaky!
