There are many people who love computers but have difficulty reading the screen.  Some have acknowledged physical handicaps from a young age whilst for others its just another factor of their senior years. 

I suggest you first read THIS article on ways to improve screen readability.  If you still need further screen magnification then consider trying the magnification software in this review.

Screen magnification software seems to fall into two categories:

• having a static area on the screen that shows a magnified view of wherever your cursor is
• having a dynamic magnified area that moves with the cursor

Most of the software reviewed here has a settings page to use either method. 

I'm not old enough to need screen magnification software yet, however some of the seniors in our seniors computer club are so this review is a mixture of my opinion tempered with feedback from them.
