Weekend Roundup for October 30, 2009

This week's roundup includes a little of this and a little of that.
As always what shows up may or may not be related to technology.

Easily restore Windows services to default settings with a web app

Good explanation of a web app (including link) that restores Windows services to their default. Wish I'd had this years ago.
Compatible with Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7

Maybe there isn't that much privacy left on the internet, but if there is, I want it.

To Share or Not to Share, That is the Question
Very informative article on copyright and how to benefit using Creative Commons license. Aimed at freelancers and mostly US oriented, it's a good read for anyone if you want to know more about copyright and how Creative Commons licenses can be used to your benefit.

Re: Services Editor

LOOKS impressive but seems to be in a rudimentary state. Not even a single word whether the list shows M$'s default settings or what. I feel I still have to go to BlackViper and check every single setting.

And the reg file they gave me is a joke; NO formatting at all. Regedit may swallow it that way but I rather have a chance at checking what such a file is doing before I run it.
Good try but definitely not for me.
