Wallpaper of the Week (Snowflakes and Dandelion)

Wallpaper of the Week

This week brings two wallpapers, both of them blue and white, both are quite different.
Dandelion is a minimal (really minimal) wallpaper that goes quite well with icons.
Where Snowflakes Are Born is a somewhat whimsical wallpaper that makes desktop icons really stand out.

Available Resolutions:
Dandelion is available in one resolution: 2560x1600
Where Snowflakes Are Born: numerous resolutions, check the site.

How To Install:
To install Dandelion: hover your mouse over the image; a downward facing arrow appears.
Click on that and the wallpaper will download to your default download directory.
Since it comes in one size, you may need to resize the image to fit your screen resolution.

To install Where Snowflakes Are Born:
Click on the resolution that matches or is closest to your screen resolution (there are a lot of choices).
When the image loads, you can right click and use "save image as" to download the wallpaper.
Some browsers allow you to set the image as desktop wallpaper by right clicking.
The screen resolutions with stars next to them are premium wallpapers.
Vladstudio has two types of wallpapers - Free and Paid.
The difference is the paid versions have a higher resolution.
I haven't been able to tell the difference between the free and paid wallpapers, all are high quality.

The Where Snowflakes are Born wallpaper doesn't have my resolution 1440x900. When I click on the resolution it comes and tells me to pay. How can I get the wallpaper of my resolution?

by rhiannon on 25. December 2011 - 20:41  (85966)

@supanut; The screen resolutions with stars next to them are premium wallpapers.
Vladstudio has two types of wallpapers - Free and Paid.
The difference is the paid versions have a higher resolution.

If the screen resolution you want is paid, you can download a larger free one and resize it to fit your screen.

If you like the site enough to want access to premium wallpapers, Vladstudio has a Lifetime Premium Account @ 50% off through December 31, 2011 - in USD that's $14.99.
