APOLOGIES:   I'm sorry but you can't register, vote or post new comments at Gizmo's Freeware until further notice.  This is because we are doing a really major upgrade to our site theme and server software.   Sorry for the inconvenience but hey we will end up with a new, more modern look that's friendlier to small screen devices. Our site mission, URL and content will not change. Our forum will remain open during the upgrade. - Gizmo

Wallpaper of the Week (Snowflakes and Dandelion)

Wallpaper of the Week

This week brings two wallpapers, both of them blue and white, both are quite different.
Dandelion is a minimal (really minimal) wallpaper that goes quite well with icons.
Where Snowflakes Are Born is a somewhat whimsical wallpaper that makes desktop icons really stand out.

Available Resolutions:
Dandelion is available in one resolution: 2560x1600
Where Snowflakes Are Born: numerous resolutions, check the site.

How To Install:
To install Dandelion: hover your mouse over the image; a downward facing arrow appears.
Click on that and the wallpaper will download to your default download directory.
Since it comes in one size, you may need to resize the image to fit your screen resolution.

To install Where Snowflakes Are Born:
Click on the resolution that matches or is closest to your screen resolution (there are a lot of choices).
When the image loads, you can right click and use "save image as" to download the wallpaper.
Some browsers allow you to set the image as desktop wallpaper by right clicking.
The screen resolutions with stars next to them are premium wallpapers.
Vladstudio has two types of wallpapers - Free and Paid.
The difference is the paid versions have a higher resolution.
I haven't been able to tell the difference between the free and paid wallpapers, all are high quality.
