Virus took my 'All Programs' list from the start menu, need help!

Not long ago a series of Trojans got into my computer and I caught them fairly quickly, but not quickly enough because the virus(s) have removed my 'all programs' from my start menu as well as my admin rights and my computer has been on "VIRUS ALERT" ever since. please help, I have been scanning my registry, scanning my computer with AVG daily and scanning with a-squared Anti-Malware also daily.

Just would like some advice on anything I could do/look into about the 'VIRUS ALERT' aswell.

Appreciate anything :)

I think you can boot into Safe Mode and then follow the instructions here:
