A Very Clever Whiteboard-Based Online Organizer

If you like organising your life by posting sticky notes onto a whiteboard, this web-based version is just what you've been looking for.

Start by signing up at www.posti.ca.  All you need is a name and an email address, but make sure you use your real address rather than a disposable one for reasons that I'll come to in a moment.

Once you're signed up and logged in, you can create and edit sticky notes on your virtual whiteboard, and move them around by dragging.  It's all browser-based, so there's nothing to download.  And of course you can log into your whiteboard from any computer or other device, wherever you happen to be.

This being 2011, and the age of social networking, posti.ca has a few tricks up its sleeve. First, you can add a new note to your whiteboard by email.  Just send the text to stickit@posti.ca, from your registered email addres, and it gets added to your whiteboard.  In a similar fashion, you can send notes to yourself via twitter, and even add notes to friends' whiteboards too.

As an organiser for personal use, or as a collaborative tool for groups to work on a project together, I'm hugely impressed by what this free service has to offer.

Tried it, but unless I'm missing something there's no way to resize the notes, which is a total dealbreaker for me.
