An Update Re Yesterday's Clock Item
Apologies to anyone who checked out my Hot Find entry yesterday, about the construction workers and their wooden clock. The site was working perfectly on the 2 occasions I checked it, several hours apart. And it's been featured on a few blogs and newsfeeds too.
Some time yesterday, it appears that the site might have been hacked. It changed to showing something else entirely.
Hopefully the original content will return, as it was excellent. Hundreds of you checked it out, as per my recommendation. For now, we've removed the original story from this web site.

http://clock.msurma.net is up and showing local time; in my case Eastern.
Makes one wonder what motivates them to do this? Money? Who's payin em?
Definitely different.
Just checked http://clock.msurma.net/ at 17:52h (GMT-3)and it is on.
The site
http://clock.msurma.net/
seems to buffer so much or has so much traffic that it won't load. The source website listed in Russia where it's picking up the feed works better though not full screen

I fell for it too! posted the link on my facebook =(
Here is a pic of it tho.

The guy who told me about it has found it again and it's now on http://clock.msurma.net/. The info about the original performance artwork of Mark Formanek who did this piece is all at http://www.standard-time.com/index2_en.php so you could put the original article back up with this web address.
THANK YOU !
I so appreciate the information. I too had posted the link on Facebook and wondered why it hadn't gotten any comments until I saw Gizmo's post here.
It hasn't been hacked, they are just streaming random stuff through flow player. This is what happens when you post random links from from the Czech Republic. They probably saw how much traffic they were getting and changed the video as a prank. Right now it's set to the 2004ish youtube sensation What What (In the butt) by Samwell.
I also enjoyed watching the timemeisters. Is it even safe to open this URL?
It's still not up at 9:20pm Eastern time.
Just checked; it ain't removed from this site yet.
Would be nice if this shakes out and the clock comes back. I never have been a clock watcher before; but that site was additive!
Thanks
