StripMail and Shortcut Key problem

I installed StripMail on my XP Pro SP3 and set up a shortcut key (F10) per the Issue 158, 19th June, 2008 newletter.

Everything worked except the Shortcut key.  No matter what keys I tried, nothing would work.

I was double checking information for this post and found the solution http://support.microsoft.com/kb/134552

Shortcut keys work differently depending on the location of the shortcut. If the shortcut is on the desktop or in the Start menu hierarchy, you can use its shortcut key to start the assigned program, or switch to the program if it is already running.

If the shortcut is not on the desktop or in the Start menu hierarchy, you cannot use its shortcut key to start the assigned program, but you can use its shortcut key to switch to the assigned program if it is already running.

Also, the key won't work if it is assigned to some other program.  F10 is used by Windows, no go.  I tried F12 and it didn't work either.  Ctl-Alt-z and F11 both worked.

The easiest thing to do is to bring up the Clipboard/Clipbook viewer (clipbrd.exe on my system) and key trying keys until you get one that works.
