Start Up Issue in Windows Vista

When I boot up my computer it boots but won't go to Windows it goes to a message that says Windows Failed to load along with a list of options such a load windows normally and if I select that it trys to load windows then restarts.

I would assume Vista was loaded on the machine when you bought it. And, I would assume it was functioning properly when you first started with it.

I would want to know what things, devices or bits of software you have added since you bought the computer.

Could you give a description of:
1. The machine
2. What things you have done since you bought it.

Likely you will have to undo the things you have done, one at a time, till it begins to load again. Or, failing that, reformat the computer. That's a lot of work. Wouldn't be my first choice.
