Some fun picture-tweaking sites.

This is my first post, so hopefully it's okay.  I learned about a couple of cool sites by navigating other sites that I learned about at coolsiteoftheday.com.  These all work with Firefox.

Mozaiq:
You can upload a picture, then this free site will make a mosaic out of it using various pictures from the web.  It doesn't appear that you can control what sites to use pictures from, but I've tried it several times and the pictures that are selected for tiles always appear to be "safe for work," i.e. smut-free.  After the “mozaiq” is generated you can download it in several different resolutions, including pre-set wallpaper sizes.  Note that it takes several minutes to process an image, so wait until you have some time to spend.

The Morph Thing:
This free site allows you to combine two pictures of faces and morphthing will create a “marriage” of the two.  Unlike other similar software, it seems to be able to do the picture-to-picture mapping automatically.  There are a bunch of photos of famous people to choose from, or you can upload your own.

Textorizer:
This appears to be a free application that Linux users can compile and use.  The link below if a webapp version.  You input a picture and the software draws it using using various bits of text that you can define.  The full Linux version seems to create cooler images, in that they have variable sizes of text.  The webversion doesn’t let you change text size, but it’s still worth checking out.

We currently don't permit links that don't rate green at WOT.
