The event log is ugly. The computer has been assigned an ip but it seems to be trying to use a different ip address. I`m going to send the info out to everybody I can think of( HP support etc) and see if I can get answer. Thanks for your help. Debbie
Assuming you are using 2000 or XP, have a look in your Event Viewer, in both your System and Application logs and see if there's any relevant errors displayed.
If there is, try searching on the Event ID # and/or some of the text of the error. It should lead you to finding a solution.
