Remote Desktop Controller

Royal TS is an alternative for the standard Terminal Services Snap-In that adds additional features, including connection specific display settings, stored login credentials (encrypted when saved as an RTS file) and more. It allows you to connect to any server which supports RDP protocol, and the connections can be organized in custom categories for quick access and saved off in a file for later access. Additional features include console connections (Windows XP/2003 or later), custom RDP target port, display smart sizing, port redirection and more.

There are alternatives like VNC/RealVNC, but they require an installation of a service on the destination server, where the application like Royal TS enables you to connect using Terminal Services which is built in.

If you connect to a number of servers and systems throughout your business day, this is a very helpful application.

Terminals is already linked, but here is Remote Desktop Manager: http://remotedesktopmanager.com/

I have to say that Royal TS is terminally flawed (pun intended!), at least for me: you can only manage a collection of ten machines - in the free version.

Otherwise great program, but I will investigate "Terminals" and "Remote Desktop Manager" instead, as I believe they have no such restrictions.

Although I haven't tried this, and going to the site has the "Share Ware" on it, I don't think I will. Well for the time being.

Other alternatives that myself and other colleges are using:
