ReInstalling Windows
Many users operate on the principle that in order to keep their machine fully optimised, they simply have to reinstall Windows every 3 months or so.
But no matter how often I do this, I always seem to forget something.

I second the recommendation of Tech Republic. They have dozens of useful "10 things" lists - and much more - about virtually every aspect of computing for both tech gurus and average consumers alike.
I differ. Some guys self-proclaiming as "Experts" in the site,
abusive languages if your queries appear naive to them. They
probably have an unwritten law that any body posting on this
ignorable site must be a professional. I strongly recommend
against registering at techrepublic.
