Print Your Own Paper!

Do you ever buy lined paper?  Or graph paper?  Or music notation paper?  Or score sheets for popular games and sports?  If so, you'll know just how expensive some of these custom papers can be.  Especially the special ones designed for use in proprietary personal organizers.

So, how about printing your own?  It might well be cheaper.  It's almost certainly more fun, and it's definitely more flexible because you can print what you want when you want it.

If this is something you want to try, head over to www.printablepaper.net or http://incompetech.com/graphpaper.  Both sites offer hundreds of papers, which you can download as PDF files to print on demand.

The only slight annoyance is that they each include their own site address as a watermark in every sheet you print. If this annoys you, note that the incompetch one is much less visible than the printablepaper version.

Also, the freeware program Photoscape, besides being a very useful photo editor, has the option of printing (non-watermarked) lined paper, calendars, graph paper, and even sheet music.

Interesting!!! It's surprising to me that no one has come up with this sooner. Up until I retired several years ago I had been doing this. I bought the special paper punches from Day Timer so I could provide my own form for both my desk (which my secretary used) and pocket versions. I started back a few decades ago in Word Perfect when it was the leading word processing software on the market.

Cheers,
Zepe

There is a freeware program that I have been using for years that prints out all sort of graphpaper and other formats. No watermarke either.
Please check it out if you need graph paper.

Direct link to exe has been removed. We do not allow that. Also, there is no website for gpaper... only the exe is present on a page. Does not offer credibility to the software like that.

On a similar site I downloaded the pdf,
opened it in PDF-XChange Viewer by Tracker Software,
drew a white rectangle (with no border) over the watermark,
and typed my name (in my choice of font) on the white rectangle,
and saved it.
Bye-bye watermark, hello instant customization!

I like PDF-XChange Viewer.

I like PDF-XChange Viewer too. I was lucky enough to find the pro version on Bits and got it for cheap.
