earlier wmp was working ok ,then recv'd some MS upgrade i install wmp 10 the problem arise i can't play video clips any more and could n't uninstall another MS upgrade msgs ,after downloads i run set up after setup error code appears COOD 2AFB     please advise with step by step or how to .......thanks very very muchhhhh

Even us techies have had such problems in the past, and when it comes to WMP many different things could cause such an error. One of the most important things you can do is create a system restore point before doing any upgrades of this sort. Then if there are any problems you can just roll back the system and try again or leave it alone.

It is probably to late to do a system restore, so I agree with the others. Use one of the free replacements, and you will likely be surprised how little you miss WMP.
