Please recommend a program capable of removing programs & services?
Would any of you please tell me which "system utility program" you would use in order to keep track of all of the new files (especially .exe-files & .dll-files), which tend to be inserted into the "WINDOWS" folder (the folder, which holds the system32 folder & private files, which are essential to operate Windows XP system) after you install a new program?
Is there a system utility program, which works well (even if the system restore service is disabled) and can track what file(s) go where & which files have been placed in the system32 folder & other places that are generally infiltrated when you install a shareware-program in "free-trial mode"?
I know some programs like Ashampoo Uninstaller, but it doesn't seem to keep track of all of the files that are inserted into my WINDOWS folder (especially the system32 & other sub-folders). And I've read about "Returnil Virtual System Premium 2008" or "XPLite", which allow Windows XP-users to remove all traces of a program but I don't know if either of them can work without using the System Restore service.
If you would suggest an uninstaller that can absolutely remove all unwanted (and non-essential) programs, as well as remove unwanted "services", please tell me so.
Thanks for your time & patience. I would appreciate any advice or links in regards to this topic.

I was about to recommend "Total Uninstall" before I read "Peter's" comment; I have to agree. How I missed the inclusion of "ZSoft Uninstall" and "Total Uninstall 2" the last time I perused this listing is beyond me; must have really been in a hurry that day.
I currently have "MyUninstaller" and "Revo Uninstaller" installed on my system. I like both of these for different reasons. "MyUninstaller" because of the information it gives me about the installation, and "Revo Uninstaller" because of the graphical layout of installed programs and it's ability to get rid of more of the stuff left behind, but neither has the unique abilities that either "Total Uninstall" or "ZSoft Uninstall" possess.
I have used "Total Uninstall" before and was very impressed with it, however, it is a paid program in version 5 (5.2.0). If I could have afforded it I would have purchased it. I had no idea that version 2 was released as a free program. With that said I'm glad I didn't purchase it. Here's why.
I have never used "ZSoft Uninstall", because I didn't know it existed, but as a result of your question and "Peter's" comment I read about it on -Gizmo's- "Best Free Program Un-installer" page and as a result of that and a little research I have downloaded it and will give it a spin. Without having tried "ZSoft Uninstall" the biggest difference I can see is that "ZSoft Uninstall" is FREE and "Total Uninstall" is NOT.
I'm encouraged by a couple things though before I install "ZSoft Uninstall"; first that Gizmo rated "ZSoft Uninstall" ahead of "Total Uninstall" and second both files are listed on "FileForum" and "ZSoft Uninstall" is also rated ahead of "Total Uninstall" by the users of "FileForum" by a full 1.1 points, and only 0.4 points from the highest rating "FileForum" has; pretty impressive for any program, paid or free, but especially impressive for a free program.
I stay pretty busy, but I will try to remember to come back and let you know what I think of ""ZSoft Uninstall".

Thanks for your reply. I appreciate your help!
There's no perfect solution to this problem, but try here:

The editor's recommendation (which effectively takes a before and after "snapshot") might well be your best bet.
Alternatively, investigate "disk imaging" (on this site) but I admit it's a rather cumbersome process just to be able to effectively restore a previous system state, and you risk not being able to restore an image.
