the native resolution of my TCL 17" wide TFT monitor is 1440 X 900 and that is not basically supported by the Intel 945G express chipset graphic driver.
the same typital problem is mentioned in the website of Intel (support/graphics)as well and to solve it an upgraded/modified version of the driver is also provided.
but despite of downloading the dirver i am unable to get rid of the trouble.
my PC meets all technical requirements to install the driver and the driver is installing online as well (offline it is not installing and showing technical shortcoming of my PC..I can't understand why ?). but after restarting the problem still persists.
i shall be grateful if any friend can help me to resolve the issue

First, I would delete the drivers (updates as well), then reinstall the updated drivers. Thats where I would start and also contact the monitor manufacturer or even where you bought it from.
