my pc has win xp on ide hd mother board: via pm800-8237

i'm trying to connect a second hd: 320 gb sata hd

i dont see it on my computer.

i enabled sata on BIOS.

computer also doesn't recognize sata dvd drive.

i suspect missing sata driver. any other ideas?

any sourse for driver that suits my mother board?

Check out this site for the drivers you need, I'm guessing you have the VT8237 SATA Chipset..
