MS Office 2003

I Setup a client to store his word doc on mappped network drive and it has been working fine for years with MS Office 2000 - MS Office 2003. Most of the documents are basic forms made with the form tool.

We are running Win2K server, Win 2K and XP- on the LAN.

For some reason (intermitently) when he opens a file doc and adds to it, he can't save it do to lack of permission. He has to reanme the current doc, save and then go back and delete the previous original entry.

Has anyone seen this befor and if so, how do we cure the problem?

I faced a similar kind of problems a day before. I was feeling helpless as i do not have any technical know-how but a friend of mine told me about a Technician who helped me resolve my issue.
