I could find no freeware program that would fully satisfy my needs. So I bought a program that is called mp3Tag Pro and never regret it. Its advantage that it supports tags in MP3, WMA, OGG, WAV, FLAC, APE, WV, M4A, AAC, MPC files. mp3Tag Pro edits files quickly and veyr easy-to-use. You can also go to http://www.mymusictools.com/music_management_3/ where you can find useful software.

Hey Good article,Thanks for it.

It sound oké but still prefer the free tagscanner

it's unfortunately then, that i'm going to buy CDs to cchange my entire library into FLAC, and that FLAC doesn't have tags on them

Where did you hear that flac files don't have tags? If you have foobar, drag a flac file to the program and right click to look at its properties.
You'll see that all the fields for metadata info are there.

Read this in the flac faq's:

http://flac.sourceforge.net/faq.html#general__tagging

The program not only features tag editing, but also includes the extra functions such as audio playback, ripping, converting and burning music files.

Why can't a tag editor just be a tag editor, and concentrate on doing that well and efficiently?

I already have a ripper I am happy with, an excellent audio player (which does all the transcoding I'll ever need), and a great CD burner. I don't need (or want) all that extra functionality just to tag files.
