There are two ways you can use the site; you can use the search function to find particular types of icons, or you can scroll through the display of 167 icon sets. Looking through the icon sets allows you to view either some or all of the icons in each set, making it easy to find the style or type you're looking for.
Not sure what to do with icons once you have them?
Try one of these two articles for help:
- How to Apply Icons To Folders
- Applying Icons in Windows Vista
(though written for Vista, this information is applicable to most versions of Windows)

I justed wanted to suggest a new and better icon search engine, FindIcons.com, which has larger icon collection and complete search filters.
Thanks for suggesting the site, it looks good.
Thanks for the great sites to explore. And for those who seek even more of the same, as well as all things design-related, I've relied on the following:
http://www.smashingmagazine.com/
Hope you find it as useful as I have.
Smashing Magazine is one of my favorite sites. = )
