Mint-5 Elyssa BusyBox

Greetings all!

I'm having a nightmare of a problem with the new version of Linux Mint-5 Elyssa BusyBox ... When I start up my Dual Boot PC selecting the HDD with Linux installed, everything OK, UNTIL BusyBl**dyBox makes an appearance, then zilch ... Limbo. I know this is a common problem, by checking on the Linux Mint forum, but no-one has yet come back to me, and living in rural Herefordshire, I feel really alone - So, :( for yours truly.

Help, Pretty Please? Chris.

I had this problem, too.

Turns out that GRUB was pointing at the HDD with XP, rather than the HDD with Mint on it. I switched the HDD cables and all is good!

This problem now sorted by moving Mint 5 Elyssa Linux to 1st in the Boot queue - You can either do this by editing the BIOS, or as I did, by physically swopping the data leads to the motherboard! - No conflicts for BusyBox to get in a muddle over then! - Phew! ;) Chris.
