Jazz Up Windows Vista Thumbnails
Tweak Vista to display thumbnails so they look like a film strip.
Vista Windows Explorer shows previews (thumbnails) of images in folders and files when viewed in Explorer.
They look like small pictures. You can change their size. Very helpful but not all that interesting.
If you enjoy fun but essentially useless tweaks, the directions at this WinVistaClub article details how you can replace the default thumbnail view with a black and white perforated film strip border.
Modifiying the registry is involved, so make sure you back up your registry settings before making any changes.
The directions are clear and easy, and since I enjoy fun but useless tweaks, my thumbnails now have film strip borders.
