Java Web Start Application Manager Update Problems?

Hi Everyone,

First time poster, so I apostle for any problems ahead of time. :))

PC is Windows XP with Service Pack 3 and currently all updated/upgraded.

I currently have Java Plug In 1.4.2_03 (Build b02)

The problem is in the Java Plug In Control Panel, when I clicked on the

manual updates now button, welcome to Java/accept button, then during

the Java Set Up Progress, the following message appears;

Internal Error: 2755.1624,

http://javadl.sun.com/webapps/download/getfile/1.6.0_07-b06/windows-:586/

jre1.6.0_07-iftw.msi

Also, when in Java Set Up Progress, the following message appears;

Internal Error: 2755.1624,

C:/Documents and Settings/My name is shown/Application Data/Sun/Java/

jre1.6.0_07/jre1.6.0_07msi

After reading these messages, I was then linked to the Sun/Java Codes Help page,

where I clinked onto the 2755,1624 links, which linked to that specific 2755,1624

help/download fixer page. I then choose to download the fixer, that is when the

dowloading process starts and that is when the message appears.

I would appreciate any feedback and please post any step by step instructions

as well. Thanks in advance for any assistance and your patience with me.
