How to get as far away as possible
The "antipodes" is the technical name for the point on the exact opposite other side of the world from where you are standing. In other words if you tunneled down in a straight line through the center of the earth it is where you would come to the surface.

Wow, I'm somewhere in the middle of Africa and Antarctica on the Indian Ocean.. At least a few small islands are somewhat close to me. Wonder if I'll freeze and drown before there... Na, going through the Earth just did it for me.
I got the sea off the coast of New Zealand, too, I managed to pinpoint exactly where my house is too.
This is no good to me
I ended up in the sea south of New Zealand and drowned
