Gizmo annoyance

The thing that irritates me everytime I come here is the backwards order of comments compared to all the other sites I regularly visit.  Any chance you could add a Sort button to reverse the order like shopping sites do with price?  Thanks.

Thank you very much. I love your site and approach to things, but I just had to blurt out about what was bothering me and keeping me from using it more.

We welcome comments & criticism; and we really do want to know what "bothers" people about our site. Tell your friends about this site!

I like the comments in the order they appear. Its faster and easier, if you have been reading old comments. Makes it convenient as the new comments are on the first page itself.
Am happy with it xP

I see what you are talking about now (different than what I thought).

Yes I agree. (Like this post is up top since I did not do it as a reply to your last post)

The Comments page does have the ability to sort ascending or descending time of post, also sorting by name of comment and by author name.

Is that the page you are talking about?

I think we're talking about the same thing, but the comments or replies to a posting are obviously sorted now in what I would call reverse order, that is, the last ones that were submitted are the first ones you see at the end of the main post, which (sorry if i repeat myself) is the opposite of most websites in my experience. It is very confusing to start on the comments/replies after reading the post/article and not know what the commenter is referring to since the antecedent comment/post comes after it instead of before it like it should.

The forum is changing over to a new system soon anyway, on vBulletin. Then it will be the same as on other sites. I agree with you this one is not as good as it could be so it's being changed.
