Get The Latest Product Recalls

Keep track of products that have been recalled by the U.S. Government.

recall.gov maintains a list of product recalls on consumer products: medicine, motor vehicles, boats, environmental products and cosmetics. (boat recalls? Go figure)

The site is searchable, has a section for recent recalls, plus you can sign up for email notifications from these agencies: the FDA, USDA, CPSC and NHTS.

The site maintains searchable databases from the EPA, NHTSA, the USDA, FDA, CPSC and the United States Coastguard. The databases are labeled according to what they contain - the USDA database contains information on Meat and Poultry Products.
The recent recall page has sections for the same agencies.
If all those acronyms make your eyes twirl, the site translates them into words you can get your brain around.

Now you don't have to rely on the news or word of mouth to get the latest recalls.

Thanks!

I can't take credit for the intro and the names - a creative mind here on the site put it together.
The posts, for better or worse, are mine, and its quite a compliment that you find them interesting.

Rhiannon, I thought I'd take this opportunity to let you know that your work is appreciated. You've chosen a good name for your posts--"treats." Some are more substantial than others, but all are "tasty," and many, like this one, are nice surprises. Other good words which apply to most are "informative" and "helpful." Keep up the good work.
