Get This 170-page Windows 7 E-Book For Free
A couple of weeks ago I told you about a great free e-book of photography tips. It proved hugely popular, so here's another free e-book that you can download and add to your digital library.
The Windows 7 Power User's Guide is a 170-page book that does what it says. There are 16 chapters, covering everything you might want to know about making the most of Windows 7. Whether you're already using Microsoft's latest OS, or you're thinking of switching, this book is definitely worth having.
You can read more about it at the author's home page, at http://www.ghacks.net/2011/05/07/ghacks-editors-windows-7-power-users-guide-ebook-is-now-free/, where you'll also find a download link. (Note: the link to ghacks.net has been updated and verified to work)
If you're downloading this book, PLEASE be sure to use the first of the 2 download links on the above page, which goes to a commercial online book store. If you download from his personal web site, there's a chance that we'll overload his server.
Also, note that the PDF file is some 24 MB. So it'll take a while to appear in your browser once you've clicked the link. When the file is displayed, you can then right-click in your browser to save the PDF file to your PC.

thank for downloading and giving knownledge.
The link provided by deputy led me to ghacks.net where I read the spin and easily spotted two download links. I chose the link that said "download here" It took the best part of a minute to download - large file (I think 26 MB) Note: there is free software online to convert PDF to eBook.
Horrible layout in this book, too garish to read!
Following the instructions (RTFM!) the program downloaded just fine...displayed it using Adobe Reader X and printed from it a sample page just fine...thank you very much!
Heck! I couldn't find a WORKING link or "button" on Ghacks.net to start a download process. All the links I found took me to advertisements, but no book. Forget it! I'll use other sources for Win7 information.
If you scroll down the page a little, just underneath the picture of the book there is a line that reads:
"You can download the book from my online book store or directly from my website here."
You should see two links in that line, both of which work perfectly for me.
Where is the epub version?
Ditto. the link now says, "Oh no, the page that you are looking for has not been found on this server."
CORRECTED link that works is:

Thanks Gizmo Freeware! Undoubtedly going to checking the e-book
I got it ok, lots of information, but I'm sticking with XP. I've tried 7 several times:: Too many changes in WinEplorer, haven't been able to network with my XP machines, no longer able to easily use my old legacy (dos) programs. My XP ain't broke and I'm not fixing it with 7
Decent book but fairly basic.
Link above goes to Page not found now-there is an updated page for this:
