FTP from one drive to another

I was trying to transfer files from my C drive to the USB hard drive and would love to have done this through a program.  Looking at the FTP programs they are fine across the internet but not on your computer that I can see.  I have lots of images that I always transfer and would like to have something simple.  Something like rgt click - send to a file on one of the drives.  This may vary, so setting up just one 'send to' is not an option.  Any ideas?  I might have missed something here which is not unusual.  So looking forward to seeing what your ideas are.
