A Free Utility for those Less than 30 Years Old!

The title for this article may seem strange but I suspect that it is quite accurate.

Guys and gals from Generation Y have a well deserved reputation for being able to handle several tasks at the one time.  Of course some older folks can multi-process as well but that's more an individual thing that a characteristic of their generation.

Regardless of your age, if  you are a multi-tasker then this free utility will be right up your alley.   Double Vision allows you to surf the web in a semi-transparent window while carrying on other tasks in the background. Just click through the browser window and you return to the background task.

It's not as weird as it sounds.  You could for example watch a flash tutorial on a software product with that product running in the background.  Or you could use it as a kind of glorified boss key: cruise the web and if the boss walks by then click to that serious looking spreadsheet in the background.

I guess these examples apply to Baby Boomers and Gen X.  Gen Y dudes will no doubt use it to watch movies in the backgound while they work. Hey maybe that's what the programmers at Microsoft did when they were developing Vista :)

For those with an nvidia card, there is already something like this built into the drivers.

The program is not simply "transparency". There are many programs out there that can make a window transparent.

This program is build specifically for watching video online. It has many features specific to video and integrates with Hulu / YouTube and other video watching websites

really, how do u use that???
