Why Are There So Many Angry Birds? This Mobile App Tells It All
![]()
Why are there so many Angry Birds in the toy market now?
Hmmm... there must be a good reason for it as the merchants are selling toys featuring the characters made popular in the software market.
Since after the game Angry Birds was first released for Apple's iOS in December 2009, it has become one of the top popular game apps.
Prompted by its popularity, the developer has also developed one for the Android system, and spun off to other varieties of the game to meet with demands.
And why has the game been so popular? At each level, it's just to destroy all the pigs on the playfield by launching a bird from a slingshot.
My take is that the game is well designed in graphics, music and sound effects, interesting and easy to play for all ages, and yet it requires some brains to hone your skills as you progress on to the next more challenging levels.
If you're new to this game, the best to start off is probably the free version here where it introduces angry birds with more power at the right stage as you go.

Oh I've played this game on the PC. Really cool and intelligent gameplay and overall its pure fun. But it's shareware on PC...oopz :-) I'm pretty sure it has the same feel on handhelds too.
I don't know what did you played, but Andgry Birds by Rovio isn't shareware. I played both on Android and Chrome and those are full games. Install the app from Chrome Web Store.
I was mentioning about the Desktop version of Angry Birds which is shareware, unfortunately. The browser versions are free though.
