Free Demo Lets You Plan a Room Layout Online

Are you in the mood to change the layout of one of your rooms?  Or maybe you're about to move to a new home, and want to plan what goes where.  Or maybe your company is shortly moving into a new office, and you've been given the job of working out where all the desks are going.

Whatever your problem, if it's related to room layouts then here's a great solution.  PlanningWiz is an online tool for planning room layouts.  Choose doors, windows, furniture, carpets, and many more items besides.  Then just drag and drop them onto a scale representation of your room.

When you're done, you can save the finished creation or email it to yourself.

Planning Wiz

PlanningWiz is actually a commercial offering, aimed at companies who want to offer their customers an online design "experience".  But their online demo is completely free, and a great way to experiment with such software without the need to buy, download or install anything.

Just check out www.planningwiz.com and click on the Test Drive button.

We're always looking for interesting web sites and freeware to feature on our Hot Find pages.  Please help us to ensure that we cover only the best, by telling us about your favourite web site or free download.  Just fill in some brief details at http://www.techsupportalert.com/content/submit-product-review.htm.  Thanks!

All the online room planners I've tried are pretty terrible. It's not they they don't have the necessary features, it's just that they all make their features almost impossibly difficult to use. PlanningWiz at least pays you back for struggling by (eventually) giving you what you need.

Our son found this Australian free program My Virtual Home worked really well for their new home design and furniture layouts. Get it at http://www.myvirtualhome.com.au/au
