I found this excellent site: http://www.bitstrips.com/ You make a free acount, then you can create your own cartoon characters and comic strips. You're limited to the items that are included in the drag-and-drop builders, but there is quite a bit of flexibility in what you can make. (i.e. Scenes, facial expressions, body langauge, cartoon panels, etc.) The best part is that there doesn't seem to be anything for sale--that is, no adds and no "paid premium access" ... It really is free! It seems to be just a kind of social networking site for the young at heart. A WARNING though: I accidently typed the URL in singular form "bitstrip dot com" and it goes to some gay bondage site. If you have kids, *DO* bookmark "bitstripS.com" but consider blacklisting or blocking "bitstrip." -steve
