Free Battery Meter
For thouse that use Laptops, which basically means everybody nowadays, battery remaining life information is an absolute must. Sure one can mouse thru the task bar to check battery status, but nothing like a very visible ( even for my weak eyes ) and straighforward information. So, here's an excellent dedicated free Battery Meter: BatteryBar !
The free version is pre-configured, but still has most/all information one needs.
Pass the mouse over the little display and you'll see all data it keeps track of. Click on it and it changes from % remaining to hours:minutes remaining, all this in a color bar : green, yellow and red. When it's blue, battery is charging.

Battery Care needs NET Framework 2.0. I prefer applications that are simple and are standalone. Battstat is the best application and the one I use :)
BatteryCare is number one.... But hight cpu taking.

You need to click on the battery bar to toggle between percentage and time remaining.
hey,
very cool tool, i like it. but it doesn't change to "remaining hours:minutes" like discribed here. The only thing i see is the green color bar with the actual battery percentage.
greets from germany ;-)
