Thanks for the link 'Tips to Make your Laptop Last Longer'. Wonderful work. Once again TechSupportAlert fundamentally improving the way I use my computer :)
Laptop article written by a child it seems, mostly common sense, a couple of weird tips, but mostly useful.
This child appreciates all the laptop tips. Always at least one thing I didn't think of. Great link to site with Win7 helps as well. Finally figured out how to make the date show in the notification area.
There is a lot of mis-information about batteries these days, people keep repeating the stuff they knew about back when NiCads were the typical batteries, nowadays it's Li-ion batteries, and perversely, they require almost the opposite treatment for long life. Be sure to read the comment by Noye on the laptop tips.
