Find music and more without using file sharing programs

Find music and more using g2p.org instead of Kazaa, Morpehus, Grockster, and other file sharing programs.

From the g2p web site:

"G2P (Google to Person) uses some crafty Google searches to help locate open directories or otherwise shared files. These searches are nothing secret.  In fact, take a look at the results, so you can see how it is done. However, it is much easier to remember g2p.org than these complex searches. Really I put this site together to make it easier on me, and then shared it with you."

After trying several of these programs I seem to get back using FrostWire. If the settings are configured properly it gets the best downloads.

Is there any way to search for aac music files?

Does it make things free & legal ?

I use this site a lot. It's my first choice for searching for specific artists or songs. With Firefox and DownloadHelper, songs are as good as mine. This website is becoming more and more popular. A drawback is dead links or streams, or whatever you want to call in, can easily be found.

Many inaccurate results, but also many correct ones which usually display first. On the other hand, the web player in skreemr is a plus to make sure it's the right song. Also, www.skreemr.com is all English.

If you don't know about it, www.skreemr.com is another search audio search engine. All of the results are mp3 files, which requires no conversion to be played on iPods. It has a great interface. You can listen to the song on the built in Web Player. Also, it shows you important information about the file, such as the artist, album, album cover, year, bitrate, sample rate, length, and probably one or two that I am forgetting (along with the link to the file of course).

Great find. Thanks.

I get about a 90% hit rate in terms of songs I'm looking for. Bear in mind it takes a few days for the newest songs to make it onto the site. On the other hand, I listen to a lot of indie music that is less likely to be listed.

Here's a great program that works on the same principle: "Clickster" from: http://www.remlapsoftware.com/

The free version is good, but you get more results with the $25 version...
