Extraordinary World Libraries

View photos of some of the world's most beautiful libraries.

Curious Expeditions (love that name) has compiled bunches of photographs of some of the most beautiful libraries around the globe.
If you love libraries (or great architecture) this is a wonderful site.
These libraries are older, historical libraries, rich in history and detail.

If you get a little lost in the photographs, the name of the library is below the photo.
Looking at the photos makes me wish I could visit each library. (Thanks Em!)
Scroll down a little until you get to the title of the article "Librophiliac Love Letter: A Compendium of Beautiful Libraries".

I think you can,but you have to be a Libertarian?

Do you mean librarian?
Libertarian (big L) is a political party.

Try getting a library card from a local university (they are usually available for a small fee). Then, you can use either on-line or inter-library-loan to access the books. When I was a graduate student (a long time ago), more books were being checked out by community members than by students.

Perhaps the tiniest sense of humor failure there, my good Dr.?
