explorer context menu organiser
anyone know of a gadget that will allow rearranging of win explorer context menu - I have shelltoys, it does hiding (similar to Mmm+) but not rearranging.
I would like to do things like - move Properties up to the top of the menu because I use a lot, group my scanners and media players into submenus etc.
would have to work alongside Shelltoys, within xplorer2 and within ACDSee pro 2 - and explorer of course
free is preferred, but pay is ok providing its reasonable cost and free trial is available,
These and others are listed at Best Free Right-Click Context Menu Add-ons: http://www.techsupportalert.com/best-free-right-click-context-menu-add-o...
Unfortunately, I haven't reviewed any of them yet, but FileMenu Tools will probably be the best. It doesn't, however, let you arrange the items that are already in the menu (I don't think). I'm not sure which programs (if any) will allow you to do that. RegToy is another piece of software not listed which may allow you to do that, but it also contains a mess of other tools that may or may not be useful: http://k-n.co.cc/. Tell us what you find.
How about Moo0 RightClicker? http://www.moo0.com/software/RightClicker/
Noup, can't do that.
It does organise the context menu to an extent, the simple and basic modes customise/alter the existing menu structure, and the basic mode allows you to hide the vast majority of items. You can't reorder or rename items like you can in the full version however.
a know to software to do that :
CMenuExtender : http://www.monctoncomputerservice.com/revenger_inc/cmext.html
FileMenu Tool : http://www.lopesoft.com/en/fmtools/info.html
FileMenu Tool is more user friendly but CMenuExtender could do think that FleMenu Tool could'nt.
