Easy Soundcard Recording With Wondershare Streaming Audio Recorder Free (Expired)

Several freeware programs, including Audacity, can record whatever audio is playing on your computer via its soundcard. But none of the ones I've tried seem to work on my Vista 32 bit setup. I may have been doing something wrong, but then again I've seen a string of similarly unsolved Vista issues posted in forums.
